Hi, I’m Kate! A social media-obsessed, fashion-loving, trend-spotting sophomore at Southern Methodist University. I’m double majoring in Marketing and Fashion Media with a minor in Advertising—if it involves branding, digital strategy, or making things look really good, I’m all in.

My love for fashion started young—at 15, I launched my own boutique, Lou & Claire, securing a wholesale license, building a website, and turning my passion into a business. That’s where I fell in love with social media marketing and brand strategy, and I haven’t looked back since.

On campus, you can find me helping bring some of SMU’s biggest events—like Homecoming and Family Weekend—to life through Student Foundation, the university’s largest student-run organization. I’m also a proud member of the Cox Marketing Academy, where I gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and networking opportunities that keep me ahead of the curve. And when I’m not planning events or curating content, I’m giving back to the Dallas community through The Big Event and repping Chi Omega (Iota Alpha Chapter) with my sisters.

Now, I’m on the lookout for a summer internship in social media marketing within the fashion or beauty space—somewhere I can mix creativity, strategy, and a love for all things on-trend!
